William "Bill" E. Sinon

  William “Bill” E. Sinon, 80, passed away May 27, 2021 at his home in Elkhart.  He was born January 15, 1941 in Elkhart to the late Eugene & Doris (Huff) Sinon.

  On June 17, 1961 he married Linda Reed at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church; she survives along with 2 children, Bryan (Julie) Sinon, Cynthia (Mike) Nowak, 3 grandchildren, Andrew (Cyndi) Nowak, Courtney (Michael) Newcomer, Amanda (Samuel) Wallace and 1 great-grandson, Noah.

  Bill worked for Miles Lab for over 42 years until his retirement in 2002.  He was a Red Coat at Elkhart General, former Cub Scout Master at Riverview Elementary, a member of the U.A.W. and the Knights of Columbus.  He enjoyed camping with his family in his spare time.    

  Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Mass will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Bristol.  Presiding will be Father Bob Van Kempen and burial will follow in Rice Cemetery.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the church.
