William F. “Joey” Davidson, Jr.

July 28, 1957 – July 22, 2025

ELKHART- William F. “Joey” Davidson, Jr., 67, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away Tuesday July 22, 2025, at his residence in Elkhart.  He was born July 28, 1957, in Christiansburg, Virginia to William F. & Betty L. (Otey) Davidson, Sr.

     Surviving are 4 siblings, Carl (Sandy) Davidson of Bristol, IN, Gregory S. Davidson of Elkhart, IN, Todd (Jennifer) Davidson of Elkhart, IN, Danielle (Meg) Davidson of Portugal, 1 niece, Trisha and 2 nephews, Ryan and Jesse.   He was preceded in death by his parents.

     Joey graduated in 1977 from Elkhart Memorial High School.  He was active in the Cleveland Little League, enjoyed watching sporting events, was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and a member of the Grace Bible Church in Elkhart.  He was formerly employed as an Associate at Walmart.

     Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Tuesday July 29, 2025, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Additional visitation will take place for 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday July 30, 2025, at the Grace Bible Church, 1700 Edwardsburg Ave., Elkhart, IN 46514.

     Chaplain Arnell McCoy from Heartland Hospice will render the service and burial will follow in Carlton Cemetery in Elkhart.

     Memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association or to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.

     The family would like to extend a special THANK YOU to Heartland Hospice of Mishawaka for the wonderful care they gave to Joey, especially Nurse Michael, Aides Julie and Jenny, and Chaplain Arnell McCoy.
