WAYNE KAY

April 28, 1959 – February 27, 2021

UNION, MI- Wayne Kay 61, of Union, died Saturday February 27, 2021 at his residence in Union.  He was born April 28, 1959 in Elkhart, Indiana to Joseph S. and Thelma A. (Stacey) Kay.

     On January 14, 1995 in Mishawaka, IN he married Michele E. Turney.  She survives along with a son Michael W. Kay of Elkhart; 3 siblings June C. (Art) Little of Elkhart, Doug Kay of Elkhart, and Dr. Claude (Boel) Ragle, DVM of Pullman, WA.  He was dearly loved by his nieces and nephew Bethany Turney, Jocelyn Turney, Brooklyn Kay, and Brandon Kay all of Elkhart.  Also surviving is his fur baby who he dearly loved Hachi.  Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and a fur baby Bogey.

     Wayne was so many wonderful, special things.  Above all loyal, honest, and dedicated.  He was known for never sitting down and always working.  The genius of everything, truly he could do anything.  He did it his way!  He was the absolute best husband to Michele, the best father to Michael and the best brother to June.  Wayne enjoyed riding his ATV, going snowmobiling and mushroom hunting.  Wayne was employed as a mechanic in the private sector.

      A dinner will be help at 523 on Main Street after the burial.  Everyone is welcome.

  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday March 4, 2021 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Pastor Keith McFarren will preside and burial will follow in Adamsville Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family for 2 hours prior to the service.  (Masks are required).

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may me given to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
