ELKHART-Virginia J. Quesinberry, 88, passed away March 17, 2024, at the Elkhart Meadows. She was born May 10, 1935, in Mercer County, West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey & Maggie (Moses) Christian, her husband, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Surviving are 5 children, Paul Quesinberry, Peggy (Sheldon Birdsall) Garman, Richard “Dale” Quesinberry, Penny (Richard) Wagner, Pamela Biers, 11 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 4 brothers, 5 sisters, and numerous other family members.
Virginia worked at E.R. Carpenter for almost 12 years until her retirement. She enjoyed doing puzzles, board games, gardening, going to garage sales and cooking for her loved ones.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 12-Noon funeral service Friday, March 22, 2024, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Presiding will be Pastor Earl Hossler from the Who So Ever Will Church. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
