ELKHART- Viola Jane Cox, 88, of Elkhart, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 14, 2025.  She was born October 11, 1936, in Medford, Wisconsin to Ora & Helen (Bradley) Warren.

     On October 20, 1951, she married Donald C. Cox.  He preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 2020.  Surviving are 3 daughters, Darla J. (Bill) Chaney, Doris Patton, Debbie Troyer all of Elkhart, IN; 2 grandchildren, Mikayla Grayce Chaney and Summer Diane Adkins and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald C. Cox; 4 sons, Donald Joseph Cox, Little Donny Cox and twins Jim & Kim Cox.  Also preceding her in death were 4 siblings, Bud Warren, Helen Warren, Curt Warren and Lois Reynolds.

     Jane was a member of the Sanctuary of Osceola, enjoyed traveling to the Grand Canyon with her husband Donald, working in her flower garden and doing crafts.

     Cremation will take place, and a Celebration of Life service will be Monday, August 25, 2025, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Service starting at 12:00 p.m.  Pastor Jack Rorie of the Sanctuary in Osceola will be officiating.
