Vincent Joseph Spirito February 13, 1959 - October 2, 2018 ELKHART-Vincent Joseph Spirito, 59, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday October 2, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend from injuries suffered in an automobile accident on C.R. 17 South of S.R. 120. He was born February 13, 1959 in Elkhart. He married Debra S. Gordy. She survives along with 2 children, Courtney A. (Travon) Curry, Nicholas J. (Brooklyn) Spirito both of Elkhart; 4 grandchildren, Mya Curry, Giovani Curry, Nadine Spirito and Vivian Spirito. Also surviving is his father, Joseph D. Spirito of Elkhart and 2 sisters, Cristy (Brett) Eldridge of Goshen and Stacy Spirito-Romero of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly J. Spirito. Vince graduated in 1978 from Memorial High School in Elkhart. He was a member of the IARA, was an avid Notre Dame fan, he enjoyed golfing, working in his yard, watching Western movies, but nothing made him happier than to spend time with his family! Vince loved with his heart and soul and he never met a stranger. He would always leave you with a smile on your face. Family and Friends are invited to a celebration of life service for Vince. It will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday October 14, 2018 at the Omega Event Center, 2130 Middlebury Street, Elkhart, IN. Pastor Jeff Lewis will preside. The celebration will continue after the service at the Omega Event Center Fellowship Hall where there will be plenty of food and fellowship until 5:00 p.m. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
