VIDA M. PRICE

June 8, 1943 – April 4, 2022

ELKHART- Vida M. Price, 78, of Elkhart, died Monday April 4, 2022, at Goshen Hospital.  She was born June 8, 1943, in Cypress Inn, TN to Clarence and Reba (Hayes) Hayes.

     In 1960 she married Douglas Norment.  He died in 1972.  She then married Dennis L. Price on August 24, 1985.  He died on March 10, 2010.   Surviving is a son, Jeffrey L. Norment; several grandchildren; 3 siblings, Linda Kay Hayes, Leland E. Hayes, Mildred Ward all of Elkhart and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 1 brother, Lloyd Hayes and 1 sister, Betty Brown.

     Vida was a former member of the Grace Bible Church and she enjoyed baking and loved to go shopping.  Vida was an Insurance Agent and worked as a customer service agent for Heart City.

     Funeral services for Vida will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday April 8, 2022, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Pastor Kyle Grant from the Grace Bible Church will preside, and burial will follow in Rice Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family for 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

     Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
