Vallerie “Val” J. Dorrier, 76, passed away June 17, 2025, at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born December 4, 1948, in Elkhart, IN.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hanks, mother, Catherine Hagans, and a son, Timothy “T.J.” Dorrier Jr.
Surviving is her husband of 45 years, Timothy Dorrier, Sr.; a son, Chuck (Lisa) Baker, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a sister, Maryanne (Gary) Glick, brother, Terry (Deb) Hagans, and several other family members.
Val enjoyed playing video games, babysitting kids, and spending time with her husband. She will be remembered for her loving spirit and charitable mindset; always putting others needs before her own.
Per her wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the family to help offset expenses.
Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
