Valerie Lynn Wood passed away on October 29, 2025, Valerie Lynn Wood passed away on October 29, 2025.  Valerie was an amazing lady who loved her family dearly.  Everyone who knew her loved her.  She’s going to be missed terribly.

She was born February 22, 1953, to Paul and Bernita Hall, both now deceased. 

  She married Bobby Wood on July 2, 1988.  Valerie is survived by her husband Bobby Wood, daughters Tamitha (Daniel) Sage, Lorinda Allard, her grandchildren Bradley (Jamie) Miller, Chelsea Atchison, Anthony (Jacky) Allard, Devin Riley and Gary and Casey Miller.  Also, her great grandchildren Natalia, Noah, River, and Baker, and her sister, Tamie Gonzales.

Her parents, son Timothy Miller, Brother Dennis Hern and sister Martha Savidge are all welcoming her to Heaven.

Valerie’s visitation is 2 hours prior to the funeral service on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.  at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Chaplain Dave Wall will be officiating the service.
