Troy D. Owens

Troy D. Owens, 57, passed away February 11, 2019 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born May 1, 1961 in Anderson, IN to Hugh & Donna (Bainter) Owens. On July 12, 1980 he married Mischa Prichard; she survives along with his mother, 2 sons, Greg (Kate Marshall) Owens, Tory (Lindsey) Owens, 2 grandsons, Brody & Rylan, 1 granddaughter on the way, Emory Rose, 2 sisters, Tammy (Niles) Owens and Tricia (Cory) Everhart. Also surviving are 6 nieces and nephews, Cody (Chelsea) Owens, Corissa Everhart, Madison Everhart, Dylan Ashby, Marli, Conli Prichard and 1 great-niece, Isabella, 2 adopted sons, Joe Kitson, Johnny Kitson, a special cousin, Keith (Tammy) Bainter), special friends, Kenny (Jessica) Parson and numerous other cousins, family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Troy worked at Gunite Corporation for over 20 years and in his spare time he enjoyed, listening to music, hunting, fishing, being outdoors and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He was also a Mason-Shriner and when his children were younger he coached at Middlebury Little League. Troy will be forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him and be remembered as a big teddy bear. Per his wishes there will be no services and cremation will take place.
