Thomas W. Lott, 71, passed away November 12, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.  He was born January 20, 1951, in Elkhart, to Marshall & Betty (Thomas) Lott.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Michael Lott, George Lott, and a sister, Mary Flegal.

  Surviving is the love of his life and companion of 43 years, Linda Williams, 5 children, Nick (Gidget) Jackson, Selina Gilbert, Jeannie (Paul) Berk, Chasity (John) Allen-Williams, and Tony (Cherri) Jackson.  Also surviving are grandchildren, Ashley (Patrick) Gnass, Jessica Berk, Zachary (Ashley) Galbraith, Brook Jackson, Drake Allen, Kristy Jackson, Kelsie Jackson, Jessica Sells, Elizabeth Sells, John Sells, and 10 great-grandchildren.

  Tom was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.  He worked in the R.V. industry his whole life until his retirement in March 2013 from Forest River.  Tom enjoyed gambling, going to the casino, telling stories and jokes to others, and he took great pride in maintaining his home, yard and truck.  He will be remembered as being a down to earth man who was well-liked by everyone he came across and a true family man.

  Per his wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services. 

  Burial will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. 

  Memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.
