Thomas W. Lee

  Thomas W. Lee, 79, passed away December 10, 2021 at his home in Cassopolis, MI.  He was born March 9, 1942 in Dowagiac, MI.

  On September 24, 1966 he married Martha Miller; she survives along with 3 children, Tamsen (Gary) Leonard, Mark (Rosanna) Lee, Kelly (Shawn) Bennett, 11 grandchildren, Amberly (Gabe) Miller, Ashlynn Leonard, Ellis Leonard, Mark Lee, Michelle Brown, Khari (Kayla) Bennett, Kian Bennett, Brionica Bennett, Jameel Bennett, Desiree Bennett, David Ockerman, 5 great-grandchildren, Ronin, Corbin, Quinnley, Deshawn and Karianna.  Also surviving are 4 siblings, Gordon, John, Frances and Anna Marie. 

  He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Lee and Rosella (Szymonski) Newman, 3 siblings, Richard, Ronald and Joyce.

  Thomas was a proud United States Navy Veteran.  He joined when he was 17 and served his country for a total of 32 years including his time in the reserves.  Thomas worked at Adams & Westlake for over 30 years, enjoyed coin collecting, his dogs and was also a member of the NRA.    

  Per his wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
