SUE ANN NOLAN

August 23, 1946 – December 20, 2025

ELKHART- Sue Ann Nolan, 79, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday December 20, 2025, at Eastlake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart.  She was born August 23, 1946, in South Bend, Indiana to Alexander & Mary (Bojtor) Horvath.

     On September 28, 1968, in Niles, Michigan she married Robert E. Nolan.

He survives along with a stepdaughter, Christy Light of Mississippi, a step granddaughter, Brandy Ellson, 2 siblings, Steve (Diane) Horvath of Niles, MI, Rosemary Densmore of South Bend, IN and several nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her furry friend, her cat Shebia, who she dearly loved.  Sue was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Alex Horvath and Chuck Somogyi.

     Sue was employed for many years at Simplicity Patterns.  She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Moose Lodge #109 and was a reserve police officer from 1972-1982 with the Osceola Police Department.

     Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. on Monday December 29, 2025, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.

Burial will follow the visitation at Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart.
