ELKHART-Starr L. Lytell, 68, passed away November 21, 2022, at Morning View Assisted Living in South Bend.  She was born August 8, 1954, in Elkhart to the late Devon & Marjorie (Schooley) Swinehart.

  On July 27, 1996, in Jones, MI she married Michael Lee Lytell; he survives along with 2 children, Kelly Beatty, Jason (Tina) Witt, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

  She graduated from Elkhart High School in 1972 and worked at the Department of Child Service for over 29 years.  She enjoyed camping watching NASCAR, traveling, listening to music, dancing and most of all spending time with her family. 

  Visitation will be held from 12:00- 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home with the celebration of life service to begin at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery and presiding will be Mike Polichek.

  Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer’s Association.
