ELKHART-Stanley J. Stankovich Jr., 53, passed away August 9, 2022, at his home in Elkhart. He was born February 27, 1969, in Elkhart to Stanley & Shirley (Craft) Stankovich Sr.
On November 19, 1987, he married Julie Clark; she survives along with 3 children, Stanley Stankovich IV, Jerry Stankovich, Sarah (Brandon Fugate) Stankovich, Grace (Terrance) Smith, 3 grandchildren, Dean, Michael, and Noel. Also surviving are 3 siblings, Beverly (Robert) Vogelsong, Cheryl Lynn (Steven) Vogelsong, and Eugene J. (Julie) Stankovich and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 siblings, Ivan Stankovich and Rose Mosier.
Stanley was an avid coin collector, enjoyed being outdoors both with work and recreationally, fishing, watching YouTube videos, exploring EBAY, tinkering with everything especially R.C. cars and airplanes, and always showed satisfaction in a job well done. His family was incredibly important to him, but he was also a man of God that enjoyed preaching his Faith, with his most prized possession being his Dad’s Bible.
Visitation will be held from 12-Noon- 2 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Northside Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Adamsville Cemetery and Pastor Nathan Breneman will preside.
Memorial contributions may be given to any church to help support his love for God and his faith or to the American Disabilities Association.
