November 15, 1964 – September 7, 2025
ELKHART- Sheryl Lynn Hines, 60, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday September 7, 2025, at her residence in Elkhart. She was born November 15, 1964, in Munich, Germany to Jimmie & Marcia Hickman.
On November 23, 2019, in Elkhart, Indiana she married Albert R. Hines. He survives along with 2 stepchildren, Amber (Steve) McCarty and Terry J. Hines, both of Elkhart; 13 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandson. Also surviving are 3 siblings, Shelia Wagner, Betty Strong and Jimmie Hickman, all of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 stepdaughter, Nina Avalino and a step grandson Malachi Hines.
Sheryl was a member of the VFW Post #88 in Elkhart, and she enjoyed crocheting, making jewelry, playing games on her cell phone and was an animal lover.
Cremation will take place, and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
