SHEILA ANN HOBSON

October 10, 1937 – April 13, 2023

ELKHART- Sheila Ann Hobson, 85, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born October 10, 1937, in South Bend to Eric and Mary L. (Sanders) Gustafson.

On October 26, 1962, she married Jerry D. Hobson. He preceded her in death on December 24, 1999.

Survivors include her daughter, Tracey (Bill) Stafford-Elkhart; brother, Louie Miller-New Carlisle; 7 grandchildren, 

 Kevin Cooper-Goshen, Tom Stafford, Lindsey Stafford-Elkhart, Megan Lacey-California, Andrea Sims-Elkhart,

Christen Babcock-New York and Bob Babcock III-South Carolina. And 20 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Robert J Babcock Jr. and Jeff Babcock.

Sheila and her husband were owners and operators of RV America for 30 years until his death in 1999. Additionally, she bred and

 showed AKC Toy Poodles and was an AKC Judge for many years. Prior to moving to Elkhart as a resident at

Hubbard Hill Estates for the last 2-years, she lived in Union, MI, - Jensen Beach, FL and South Bend.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 700 East Jackson Blvd., Elkhart, IN is entrusted with her arrangements.
