Shane P. Carey

Shane P. Carey, 52, passed away August 10, 2022, at Elkhart General Hospital.  He was born May 12, 1970, in South Bend, IN. 

  He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Carey.

Surviving is his mother, Darlene (Dennis) Bracewell, a son, Michael Carey, 2 siblings, Chad (Angel) Carey, Kristen (Joshua) Gee and numerus other family members. 

  Shane was an “information junkie”, he obtained all sorts of knowledge from his passion for reading and researching.   He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Elkhart.   

  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the 11 a.m. memorial service Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Presiding will be Pastor Sean Fox from First Baptist Church. 

  Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church, 53953 County Road 17, Bristol, IN 46507.
