Saundra Jo Wallin

January 31, 1938 – June 23, 2025

Elkhart-Saundra Jo Wallin, 87, of Elkhart passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025 at the Elkhart General Hospital.  She was born on January 31, 1938, in Elkhart, Indiana to Orvan J. and Lois (Reavis) Smith.  She is survived by her daughter, Stacia C. (Arturo) Hemmes, of Soignies, Belgium, her 2 sisters Charlene Smith, and Janice (David) Troyer, both of Elkhart, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Wallin her son, Jeffrey Wallin, and siblings O.J. Smith, and Chester Smith both of Elkhart.

  Saundra worked for the city government as a bookkeeper.  She enjoyed reading and loved playing bingo.  She loved her family more than anything and spending time with them.  Saundra will be terribly missed by her loving family and all who knew her. 

  Per her wishes cremation will take place and there will be no service.  Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.
