Sarah "Liz" E. Lansford

ELKHART-  Sarah “Liz” E. Lansford, 34, passed away May 18, 2023, at her home in Elkhart.  She was born April 4, 1989, in Elkhart.

  Surviving is her mother, Vicki (Steven) Hoogenboom, 4 children, Caleb, Bailey, Ava and Jaxson.  Also surviving are 4 sisters, Samantha (Tim) Alexander, Justine (Michael Garcia) Miller, Autumn (Chris) Smartt, Brittney (Michael) Ramirez, a brother, James Logan, numerous nieces and nephews.   

  She was preceded in death by her fiancé, Norman Eash, a son, Jay Dean Michael, and a sister, Janelle Logan.

   Sarah was the definition of a free spirit! She enjoyed trying new things and her adventurous spirit led her to truly experience life by going on many road trips, cedar point, skydiving, receiving over 23 tattoos and numerous other things on her bucket list.  Sarah also liked cooking and taking photos of her family and friends.  She was funny, outspoken, and was never afraid to stand up for others or herself.  The most important thing to her was her family, especially her children.

   Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 7 p.m. celebration of life service Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Presiding will be Pastor Bill Sauer from The Vine Church in Goshen.

   Memorial contributions may be given to the family c/o Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home to help offset expenses.
