Sandra K. Hite

April 11, 1943-November 16, 2024

GOSHEN-Sandra K. Hite, 81, passed away November 16, 2024 at the Center for Hospice Care, Esther House.  She was born April 11, 1943, in Manitowoc, WI.

  On August 8, 1970, she married Lawrence Hite.  He preceded her in death on September 24, 2022.  She was also preceded by her father, Berlyn Higgins, and her mother, Irene (Ansorge) Krogstad.

  Surviving is a niece, Emily Hite, nephew, Ken “Cliff” Hite, sister-in-law, Haydee Hite, godson, Douglas Gleichner, 2 cats, Max and Olive.

  Sandra worked at Bayer for 37.5 years and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.  She also enjoyed flower gardening in her spare time. 

  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery and officiating will be Pastor David Schrader.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the Elkhart County Humane Society or to Faith United Methodist Church.
