Ruby Eleanor Hall or as she was known by many as Ellie, went on to her heavenly home on August 27th, 2022, surrounded by her daughters.  She was born in Syracuse Indiana on July 10, 1923. She is survived by her daughter Bonnie (Richard) Fox of Lakeland Florida and her daughter Debbie (Robert) Leeper of Mesa Arizona.  She is preceded in death by her husband Welcome Hall, parents Herbert and Blanche Blue, her biological Father Arnold Stabler, her brothers Lester Stabler and Raymond Stabler, her daughter Connie and many other beloved family members.  Ellie was blessed to have granddaughters June Jensen, Pam Hartline (Don), Paula Bradley (Michael), Amanda Tucker, and Amy Green. She also had grandsons, Jay Fox, Greg Fox (Kim) and Jason Tucker.  She had 10 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.  She lived her earlier life at their home property at Mud Lake in Cassopolis Michigan and after Welcome’s death she moved to Lakeland Florida and continued her life in her home across the street from her daughter Bonnie.  Ellie loved to crochet, do word search puzzles and bake cookies, pies and cakes for loved ones and friends.  Ellie also loved to feed the Sandhill Cranes, birds and squirrels that would come to her front yard. 

  Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 10, 2022, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Funeral services will start at 11:00 a.m. Saturday.  Pastor Bob Vale will render the service and burial will follow at Solomon Creek Cemetery in Benton, Indiana.

    In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Good Shepherd Hospice House, Lakeland Florida.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
