Rosemary “Mickie” Chandler

CROMWELL, IN- Rosemary “Mickie” Chandler, 86, of Cromwell, Indiana formerly of Elkhart, IN died Saturday January 30, 2021 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. She was born June 10, 1934 in Elkhart to William and Clara (Dunafin) Berry.
Mickie married Ralph Rex and they were married for 25 years. He preceded her in death. She then married James D. Chandler on December 2, 1983. He preceded her in death on December 17, 2005. Surviving is her daughter, Cindy S. (Mark) Baker of Cromwell, a stepdaughter Carol Santoro; 3 grandchildren Mark E. (Ryana) Baker of Marion, IN, Michael P. Baker of Elkhart, Jamie L. (Rodney) Baker of Cromwell and 4 great-grandchildren, Jalynn Baker, Jordan Baker, Katie Baker and Riley Baker. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, a granddaughter Crystal Baker, a stepdaughter Dedri Chandler and 3 siblings, Lowell “Bud” Berry, Norma Gold and Dorothy Daum.
Mickie was a member of the Moose Lodge in Kissimmee, Florida and she enjoyed sewing, cooking, crafting, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family. She worked at CTS Corporation in Elkhart for many years and most recently was a homemaker.
Funeral services for Mickie will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family for 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Rice Cemetery.
