Obituary
ELKHART-Robert “Bob” J. Heflin, 76, passed away September 4, 2023 at his home in Elkhart. He was born January 11, 1947, in Clarksville, TN to Eddie & Virginia (Evans) Heflin.
On December 22, 1973, he married Celaine Girten; she survives along with 7 children, Louann (Darrin Klein) Hunt, Steven (Kim) Swoape, Tim (Theresa) Swoape, Sheila (Chad) Howard, Scott (Arlene) Heflin, Marc (Amy) Swoape, Steven (Alisha) Heflin, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 5 siblings and many other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister.
Bob worked at Windsor Mobile Homes for over 20 years and then at C&B Custom Modular Inc. for over 10. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time and will be remembered as true family man that was loved by all.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the 12-noon memorial service on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Presiding will be Pastor Mike Swinehart and burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Grace Point Church, 54662 Ash Road Osceola, IN 46561.
