ELKHART-Rhonda J. Reynolds, 64, passed away October 22, 2022, at Elkhart General Hospital.  She was born December 2, 1957, in Fort Bragg, NC.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Reynolds and her grandparents.  

Surviving is her mother, Barbara Reynolds, the love of her life, Joseph Walker, 3 children, Lawrene (Mike Newman) Reynolds, Lance (Angela) Reynolds, and Trent (Kristina Howard) Reynolds.  Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, Mekaila (Izaak), Haley, Brady, Nevaeh, Katie, Jessie, Evelyn “Punky”, MC, Caleb, Jenna, Devin, 4 great-grandchildren, Braden, Addiebug, Heidi, C.J., brother, Kenneth (Teresa) Nissley and an uncle, Jim Hickman. 

  Rhonda was a member of the V.F.W. #88, enjoyed cooking and baking and loved her fur babies.  Her family was incredibly important to her and was known as “mom-mom” to not only her own grandchildren but many others as well.  Rhonda’s smile and spirit lit up a room and although she was very kind, she could become fierce if you messed with any of her family.  She truly was the best mom, mom-mom, daughter, sister and friend anyone could ask for and will forever hold a special place in all their hearts. 

  Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2022, with the celebration of life service to begin at 7 p.m. at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.

  Memorial contributions may be given to Heart-to-Heart Hospice or All 4 Animals Rescue.
