Quinette M. Grames, 89, passed away June 9, 2020 at Elkhart Place Assisted Living. She was born September 15, 1930 in Bay City, MI to George & Marie (Wright) Bolsover.
On June 15, 1956 she married William Grames; he preceded her in death in 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, Stephan Harvey and 1 sister, Betty Lou.
Surviving is 1 daughter, Cynthia (Roger) Grossman, 4 stepchildren, Sandy Norton, Jeannie Graziano, Carol Moore, Gary (Cathy) Grames, 5 grandchildren, Kate (Tony) Staltari, Karen Harvey, Tim (Theresa) Grossman, Bill (Tracy) Grossman and Tom Harvey. Also surviving are 8 great-grandchildren, Isabella Staltari, Anna Staltari, Elizabeth Grossman, Mary Grossman, Theodore Grossman, Christoper Grossman, Melanie Grossman, Rebecca Grossman, numerous step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren and her dog, Cassie.
Quinette graduated from Wabash High School in 1948 and started working for Miles Lab/Bayer in 1954 where she was employed for 41 years. She enjoyed working there very much. In her spare time, she liked ballroom dancing and needlepoint. She was fond of horses and even raised some Quarter Horses. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge, Lions Club and Order of the Eastern Star.
A graveside service for Quinette will be held Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Rice Cemetery.
