PHILLIP A. REPLOGLE
March 20, 1948 – October 23, 2021
ELKHART- Phillip A. Replogle, 73, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday October 23, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 20, 1948, in Elkhart to Donald and Phyllis (Kiser) Replogle.
On September 17, 1967, in Elkhart, Indiana he married Cheryl Lee Lamb. She survives along with 2 children, Tracy Replogle of Riverview, FL and Bradley Replogle of Tampa, FL; 3 loving grandchildren, Hanna Greiner of Indianapolis, IN, Haley Greiner of Los Angeles, CA and Kaeden Replogle of Riverview, FL, who he helped raise and who called him his PaPa. Also surviving are 2 siblings, Pam (Dennis) Fletcher of Elkhart and Terrence (Amy) Replogle of Vandalia, MI and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Phillip graduated from Elkhart High School in 1966 and attended IUSB. He was a member of the Elkhart Moose Lodge #599, and a member of Four Lakes Country Club in Edwardsburg, MI. He and his wife were married for 54 years. They enjoyed playing Tripoley, fishing together and shared a lifetime of memories. He also enjoyed golfing at Four Lakes, bowling, was an avid NASCAR, Notre Dame, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago Bears fan, loved dancing, going to the local casinos, in his younger years the 1970’s he raced stock cars and was also a member of the National Honors Society.
Phillip was the owner of PAR Water Conditioning in Elkhart since 1995. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His daughter was his best friend, they enjoyed watching football, golf, NASCAR, Chicago Cubs and horse racing. Phillip always considered Tracy his daughter, “daddy’s girl”. He was there for her no matter what. They had an unbreakable bond that will be cherished forever.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday October 28, 2021, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Please come to the funeral dressed in Notre Dame attire. Friends may visit with the family for 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Adamsville Cemetery.
Following the committal service at the cemetery, a dinner will be held at The Green Jacket restaurant at Four Lakes Country Club in Edwardsburg, MI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Green Jacket restaurant at Four Lakes Country Club in his memory.
