Peggy Lee Lancaster

Peggy Lee Lancaster, 73, passed away March 14, 2021 at her home in Elkhart.  She was born December 11, 1947 in Elkhart to Frank & Fern (Ganger) Shaffer.
 On November 2, 1979 she married John H. Lancaster, Sr.; he survives along with 6 children, Thomas Shaffer, Jackie Shaffer, John (Traci) Lancaster, Jr., Edward Lancaster, Larry Shaffer and James Lancaster.  Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patricia Pontius.
  Peggy worked in the RV Industry for over 35 years until her retirement in 2014.  She was considered the neighborhood mom and helped raise many children.  Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family and playing on the computer.
  A celebration of life gathering will be held Friday, March 19, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.
