Paul E. Holt

ELKHART-Paul E. Holt, 84, passed away February 3, 2021 at his home in Elkhart.  He was born August 15, 1936 in Metropolis, IL to George & Edna (Humes) Holt.

  On July 4, 1954 he married Janet Laird; she preceded him in death on November 28, 1992.  He was also preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Katherine Cooper.

  Surviving is 1 daughter, Vicky (Robinson) Holt-Robinson, 4 grandchildren, Ben Tucker, Nick Peterson, Rachel (Scott) Webb and Brett (Jami Foster) Robinson.  Also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren, and his companion, Freda Moorehouse.

  Paul owned Paul’s Sinclair Service Station/Paul’s Arco Service Station for many years.  He also worked at Fastec for over 25 years. 

  Paul was a car fanatic that enjoyed anything and everything about cars.  He also liked going to car shows and even won several with his 1972 Grand Prix. 

  A private service will be held, and burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. 

  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

  Memorial donations may be given to Cancer Resources of Elkhart County.
