Patrick “Rick” “Bear” C. Roy

ELKHART-Patrick “Rick” “Bear” C. Roy, 68, passed away December 13, 2021, at his home in Elkhart.  He was born July 9, 1953, in Elkhart to the late Harry & Elizabeth “Betty” (Markey) Roy.

  Surviving are 5 children, Alicia Fuller, Cecil Roy, Daniel Walker, Ricky (Sara) Roy, Harry (Missy) Roy, 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Stephanie Reavis and Cynthia Comer.

  Rick was a proud U.S. Marine Veteran that truly loved his country.  He formally worked for Conrail and was a member of the Marine Corps Riders Club of Michiana.  Rick always lived life to the fullest and loved riding his motorcycle. 

  Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2021, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Prairie Street Cemetery with full military honors.   

  Memorial contributions may be given to the family C/O Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home to help offset expenses.
