August 19, 1963 – March 21, 2025


ELKHART- Michael James MacMillan, 61, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away Friday March 21, 2025, at Valley View Healthcare in Elkhart.  He was born August 19, 1963, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Howard Gordon & Cheryl (Henriksen) MacMillan.


     Surviving is his daughter, Alyssa MacMillan of Elkhart; 3 siblings, Catharine (Richard) Walker of Winter Garden, FL, Howard G. & Thomas R. MacMillan both of Elkhart, IN; 5 nephews, Jason Walker, Brian (Stefanie) Walker, Shawn (Olyvane) MacMillan, Bryce MacMillan, Matthew Wells, 1 niece, Michal (Shawn) Ruegner, 5 great-nephews, Gavin MacMillan, Chayton Ruegner, Ethan Walker, Carson Walker, and Owen Walker, 1 great-niece Hailie Humfleet, and one sister-in-law, Barbara Newcomer.  He was preceded in death by his parents.


     Michael graduated in 1981 from Memorial High School.  He was formerly employed at W.W. Wilt Supermarket and Martin’s Supermarket, having worked in the produce department. 


 Mike loved going to concerts and going to the casino when he had the chance.  He also enjoyed WWE wrestling.   His favorite thing was being a father to Alyssa and spending time with her.  He was so very proud of her. 


     Cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will take place at a later date.  Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
