Michael G Troyer Obituary

Michael G. Troyer, 69, passed away September 16, 2024, at Goshen Hospital.  He was born October 20, 1954, in Elkhart, IN to the late Laddie & Betty (Raisor) Troyer.


  On October 15, 1977, he married Debra Miller.


  Surviving are 3 daughters, Ami (John) Yoder, Kari (Chris Nelson) Troyer, Nikki (Ryan) Ayers, 7 grandchildren, Dylan, Quinn, Sadie, Mia, Dean, Gavin, and Micah.  Also surviving is a brother, Randy (Shari) Troyer, a niece, Julie (Matthew) Weber, and numerous family members.


  Michael graduated from Concord High School in 1973, where he was also on the wrestling team.   He was a salesman throughout his entire life.  Michael enjoyed karaoke, fishing, antiquing, and playing disc golf.  He was a creative person that many consider a “jack-of-all trades”.  Michael will be remembered for his unique sense of humor and his amazing cooking skills. 


Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  The celebration of life service will begin at 3 p.m. immediately following the visitation.   Officiating will be Pastor Chris Garner.
