April 18, 1927 – December 9, 2024
Mary L. Schlabaugh 96, of Elkhart, IN. passed away at the Doctors Neuropsychiatric Hospital on December 9, 2024. She was born on April 18, 1927, in Topeka, IN, to Ray and Bertha (Bowen) Olinghouse.
She married Carl Lester Schlabaugh on October 18, 1958, in Goshen, IN. He preceded her in death, as well as her parents, her daughter Cheryl, a brother, Frederick (Elsie) Olinghouse of Defiance, OH, 1 sister Barbara Duling of Lima, OH. She is survived by her stepson Carl Bruce Schlabaugh of Colorado Springs, CO., and 3 grandchildren.
Mary was an office clerk at the Nibco Plastic Division in Goshen and was also a homemaker.
Per her wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services. She will be laid to rest at Prairie Street Cemetery at a later date.
Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.
