MARY KATHERINE ROOKSTOOL
August 26, 1953 – September 6, 2022
ELKHART- Mary Katherine Rookstool, 69, of Elkhart, died Tuesday September 6, 2022, at her residence in Elkhart. Mary was born August 26, 1953, in Manchester, TN to Yancy & Mary M. (Coldwell) Spry.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Sue Porter. Surviving are her 2 children, Melinda S. Rookstoll and Gary Wayne Hill, Jr., both of Elkhart, IN and 4 siblings, James David Spry, Judy Patrick both of Constantine, MI, Bobby Joe Spry of McMinnville, TN and Betty M. Slabaugh of Goshen.
Cremation will take place and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
She will be laid to rest with her parents at Prairie Street Cemetery. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral home is entrusted with her care.
