GOSHEN- Mary Lou Rogers, 82, of Goshen, passed away Friday May 8, 2020 at Courtyard Healthcare Center in Goshen. She was born May 28, 1937 in Elkhart to George Calvert & Helen May (Gould) Pease.
On December 17, 1977 she married Donald F. Rogers. He preceded her in death on March 19, 2017. Surviving are 5 children, David E. (Gina) Ritter of Avon, IN, Kathryn J. (Brian) Caplinger, Deborah A. (Phillip) Geise both of Elkhart, Cynthia K. (Kevin) Carpenter of Goshen, John J. (Cindy) Rogers of Edwardsburg; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, a daughter Christy DeCook, a brother John Pease and a sister Sally Andrews.
Mary Lou graduated from Elkhart High School in 1955. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and sang in the church choir. Mary Lou was also a member of the Elkhart Symphony Chorus and a member of the Red Hat Society.
She retired from LaSalle-Bristol.
Cremation will take place and a private family graveside service will be held at Rice Cemetery. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with her care.
