ELKHART- Mary A. McClane, 87, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday October 14, 2025, at Elkhart General Hospital.  She was born March 28, 1938, in Goshen, Indiana to Lester R. & Nellie Wantz.
     She married Edward L. McClane, they were married on June 9, 1962, and he preceded her in death on August 4, 2010, in Elkhart.  Also preceding her in death were her parents and 2 half siblings, Harold Lawyer and Carole Hoffman.  Surviving are 2 sons, Bret McClane and Bart (Sara) McClane; 4 grandchildren, Toni McClane, Tara (Brandon) Tabor, Kari McClane, Breann (John) Mrosewske; 5 great-grandchildren, Jayleon McClane, Khymoni McClane, Jariyel McClane, Kingsley & Charley Mrosewske and her twin sister, Martha Miller.
     Mary was the owner of the Sports Locker Lounge in Elkhart for many years.  She also was a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles Arie and the DAV. 
     Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday October 17, 2025, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.   A celebration of life service will start at 6:00 p.m.,Pastor Rick Pirtle of Riverview General Baptist Church will be officiating the service.
     Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
