Marjorie C. Brigant

October 26, 1925-August 29, 2022

ELKHART-Marjorie C. Brigant, 96, passed away August 29, 2022. She was born October 26, 1925, in Elkhart to James & Emma (Minelli) Bonfiglio. 

  On October 29, 1949, at St. Vincent Church she married Daniel S. Brigant; he preceded her in death on June 15, 2011, after more than 62 years of marriage.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her best friend and sister, Irma Russo, who died at the age of 92.

   Marge worked at Miles Laboratories as a statistician and then at Star Machine where she served as an office employee for many years.  She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in her younger years but more recently she was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.   She was an outgoing, dependable and pleasant person to all she met.  Marge and Danny traveled extensively and enjoyed Danny’s reunions with his Army buddies.  Although she had no children of her own, Marge enjoyed being around children and served as a beloved aunt to her many younger cousins. 

  Per her wishes there will be no visitation or service and Entombment will be held privately at the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum in Rice Cemetery.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.

  Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements.
