Lynn E. (Havlish) Comer

September 13, 1961 – July 2, 2024

  UNION, MI – Lynn E. (Havlish) Comer, 62, of Elkhart, IN, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at her home in Union, MI. She was born September 13, 1961, in Elkhart, IN, to Robert and Bernadine (Sullivan) Havlish.

Lynn graduated from Elkhart High School in 1979. For more than 15 years before her death, she worked at Statewide Aluminum. But her life’s work truly was her family, her children, her grandchildren, her friends, and the many fur-kids she gave homes to over the years. No one ever went hungry when Lynn Comer was around! Known for her generous spirit and willingness to pitch in whenever anyone needed her, she leaves a legacy of love and laughter.

Lynn is survived by her cherished children, Stephanie Comer and Adam (Mirrissa) Comer, both of Elkhart, IN; her treasured (and doted-upon) grandchildren, Emily Comer, Corah Comer, and Oakley Comer, all of Elkhart; her beloved partner Russ Anglemyer of Union, MI; sisters Susan (Mark Robinson) Havlish of Nashville, TN and Kathryn (Steve) Loudin of Sturgis, MI; and her dear friend Gail Noel of Mottville, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents and her older brother Mark Havlish.

Visitation will be Monday, July 8, 2024 from 4-7 pm, and Tuesday July 9, 2024 from noon-1 pm, preceding the 1 pm funeral service at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, who is entrusted with her care.
