Linda L. “Little Bit” Spratt

October 8, 1950 – November 29, 2024

ELKHART- Linda L. “Little Bit” Spratt, 74, of Elkhart, passed away Friday November 29, 2024, at her residence in Elkhart.  She was born October 8, 1950, in South Bend, Indiana to Dwight & Virginia (Gore) Golden.

     Linda married Rex Lee Spratt in 1973, and he preceded her in death in 2004.  Surviving are 2 daughters, Tracey Lynn Pringle, Lisa (Scott) Rogers, a son Rex Spratt, Jr., her fiancé, William Michael Feeback all of Elkhart; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  Also surviving is her sister Carolyn Hostetler of Elkhart; her brother Darwin Golden of California, Mikes son Rusty Feeback of Mishawaka and her furry friend Domino.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Hal Eugene Spratt, her husband and a brother, Patrick Golden.

     Linda worked as a waitress and bar tender for Heinnies and Falcones in Elkhart for many years and was a custodian at Concord East Side for 23 years.  She also worked part time as a bar tender at the Franklin Street Tavern. 

     Linda graduated in 1970 from LaSalle High School in South Bend.  She was a member of the DAV, American Legion and the Elkhart Moose Lodge.

Linda was loved by everyone she met, and she will be dearly missed.  Her favorite saying was “I Love You More.” 

     The family would like to extend a special THANK YOU to her hospice caretakers.  She was truly a special lady!

     In keeping with her wishes, cremation took place, and a celebration of life service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Osceola American Legion.  There will be food for all.

     Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with her care.  Memorial contributions may be given to Transitional Hospice.
