Linda S. ‘Susie” Moore

April 11, 1953-September 16, 2022

GOSHEN-Linda S. “Susie” Moore, 69, passed away September 16, 2022, at Goshen Hospital.  She was born April 11, 1953, in Elkhart.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel & Evelyn Moore, 2 siblings, Judie Eash, and Kenny Moore.

  Surviving are 3 siblings, Ron (Connie) Moore, Barbara Archer, Peter (Julie) Moore, and numerous other family members.

  Susie’s faith was important to her, and she was a member of Bethany Missionary Church.  She and her mother enjoyed attending Bluegrass festivals together, camping at Eby Pines for the last 20 years annually with her family, knitting, doing word searches, traveling, shopping and her favorite entertainer was Bill Monroe.  Susie also had a wonderful sense of humor and a skill for bantering.    

  Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Monday September 26, 2022, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. and burial will follow in Olive (East) Cemetery. Presiding will be Pastor Bob Vale from First United Methodist Church of Middlebury.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the Salvation Army.
