Linda DeVlieger Obituary

ELKHART- Linda Kay DeVlieger, 71, of Elkhart, died Saturday March 13, 2021 at her residence. She was born October 5, 1949 in Carbondale, IL to Harry and Ethel Brown.

On May 11, 1996 in Rockford, Illinois she married Roy Allen DeVlieger. He survives along with a son Thomas Lee (Kimberley) Hill, a granddaughter Jemini Hill both of Elkhart and 2 nieces Lena Lavell and Christina Tyler. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and 2 brothers.

Linda enjoyed fishing, reading dancing, and working in her flower garden. She was employed as a CNA and was also a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

A celebration of life service for Linda will be held at a later date at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.

Memorial contributions may be given to ASPCA.
