LILLIAN THELMA O’DELL

DECEMBER 3, 1930 – NOVEMBER 26, 2021

GOSHEN- Lillian Thelma O’Dell, 90, of Goshen, died Friday November 26, 2021, at Goshen Hospital.  She was born December 3, 1930, in Elkhart, Indiana to William and Evelyn (Alford) Schult.

     On June 3, 1949, in Elkhart she married Richard H. O’Dell. He preceded her in death on December 22, 2000, in Elkhart. Surviving are 4 children, Steven (Karen) O’Dell of Bristol, IN, Wayne (Joey) O’Dell of Elkhart, IN, Linda (Karl) Cripe of Bristol, IN, Brian (Debbie) O’Dell of Middletown, OH; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard and 5 siblings, Carl Schult, Helen Taylor, Bob Schult, Betty Mallard and Gloria Stanowiak.

     Lillian was a homemaker and she enjoyed bowling, playing cards and baking.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

     Funeral services for Lillian will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday December 2, 2021, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Jarod Hundley will preside and burial will follow in Rice Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family for 2 hours prior to the start of the service.

     Memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association or the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
