LARRY DEAN DAVIS

June 9, 1949 – April 19, 2026

ELKHART, IN- Larry Dean Davis, 76, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday April 19, 2026, at The Center for Hospice Care-Esther’s House in Elkhart, IN.  He was born June 9, 1949, in Terre Haute, IN, to Raymond & Mary (Powers) Davis.

     He married Judith Lynne Staley, and she survives along with 1 son, Shaun Davis of Elkhart, 1 stepdaughter, Becky Wiese of Osceola, IN; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Al Davis, Roger Davis, Bill Davis all of Tempe, AZ.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sons, Matthew Davis and Larry Lee Davis.

     Larry worked at Wells Cargo for over 25 years.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing dominos and was a Vietnam veteran serving with the US Air Force.

     Cremation will take place and a Graveside service with full military honors will be held Friday, May 1, 2026, 12:00 p.m. at Rice Cemetery.
