Kenneth E. Fritz

ELKHART- Kenneth E. Fritz, 91 of Elkhart, died Friday, July 9, 2021, at Elkhart General Hospital.  He was born February 27, 1030, in Wyatt, Indiana to Clifford Fritz and Esther M. (Moser) Holderman.

   Surviving are 2 sons, Byron Fritz of Elkhart, IN., Karl Fritz of Utah, several grandchildren.  A brother, Herbert Fritz of Elkhart, Indiana, numerous nieces, and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Geneive Clubb, half-brother Howard Holderman, Jr., and half-sister Sharon Jennings.

   Kenneth was a life member of the Elkhart DAV.  He served his country in the Army, during the Korean conflict.  Kenneth enjoyed bowling, repairing lawn mowers, and old bicycles and in his younger years playing softball.  Kenneth worked at Martin’s Feed Store for 19 years and retired from Elkhart Distributing Corp. in 1981

   Visitation for Kenneth will be Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until

1:00 p.m. with services following at the funeral home.  Pastor Keith McFarren will be presiding.  Burial with military honors will take place at Prairie Street Cemetery

following his service.

   Walley Mills Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.  Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
