KAREN S. SCHMUCKER

December 16, 1957 – May 4, 2020

ELKHART- Karen S. Schmucker, 62, of Elkhart, passed away Monday May 4, 2020 at Woodland Manor in Elkhart.  She was born December 16, 1957 in Corpus Christie, Texas to the late Clarence & Patricia (Kleckner) Hemphill.

     Surviving are 4 Sons, Michael Schmucker of Goshen, Christopher (Elizabeth) Schmucker, Jeremy (Brandy) Schmucker, Aaron (Jennifer) Schmucker all of Elkhart; 2 grandchildren, Marissa & Aven Schmucker and 2 sisters, Laura (David) Robison of Bristol and Theresa Hemphill of Goshen.

     Karen graduated in 1977 from Elkhart Central High School.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bristol, she enjoyed reading, playing bingo, doing word search and spending time with her family and friends.

      A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon Friday May 8, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bristol.  Private family visitation will be for 1 hour prior to the mass.  Fr. Bob Van Kempen will preside and burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.

     Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with her care.  Memorial contributions may be given to Harbor Light Hospice.
