KAREN M. PLACHE-CRAWLEY April 27, 1955 - August 30, 2018 ELKHART- Karen M. Plache-Crawley, 63, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday August 30, 2018 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born April 27, 1955 in Racine, Wisconsin to the late Elmer & Dorothy (Bowles) Olache. Surviving is a daughter, Melissa A. young of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren; her companion, Ryan Belt of Elkhart and 6 siblings, Kathleen Ford of Bryson City, NC, Kris Time, Kimberly Plache, Kelli Morrissey all of Racine, WI, Elmer F. Plache, Jr. and Gary Plache. Karen loved going to tag sales. She retired from the City of Elkhart in 2000 and worked for them for over 24 years in planning and zoning department. In keeping with her wishes cremation will take place. Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice Care.
