Karen L. Feltz

January 18, 1951-January 8, 2025

ELKHART-Karen L. Feltz, 73, passed away January 8, 2025, at Valley View Health Care.  She was born January 18, 1951, in Elkhart to Martin & Dorothy (Staub) Shea.

  On August 4, 1973, she married Michael Feltz; he survives along with 2 children, Marshall (Tara) Feltz, Stefanie Hernandez, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are 2 siblings, Cathy (Rick) Lanham and Patrick Shea.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, and 4 siblings, Tom Shea, Linda Shea, Martin Shea III, and Sally Dunfee.

  Karen graduated from Elkhart Central High School in 1969, worked for Conn-Selmer from 1969-2017 and was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.  In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, bicycle riding, baking, reading and shopping.  Her favorite thing to do however was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

    Per her wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.
