Jeffrey Wayne Garner, 62, of South Bend and formerly of Elkhart, died Wednesday August 17, 2022, at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born January 5, 1960, in Elkhart, Indiana to John William & Alice Dee (Becker) Garner.
Surviving are two children, Misty Dawn Garner of South Bend, Justin Wayne Garner of Elkhart: 5 grandchildren, Tyler Garner, Jeane Garner, Savannah Garner, Landyen Oley, Justin Garner II, 1 great-grandchild, Adonis Garner and a sister-in-law, Brenda Garner. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Cody Garner and 3 siblings, Danny Garner, Debbie (Harold) Wise and Brenda (Joe) Claybourn.
Jeff served in the National Guard and was a mechanic.
Cremation will take place burial will be held at a later date at Prairie Street Cemetery.
Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
