JEANENE K. FRANKS

January 10, 1938 – April 12, 2021

GOSHEN- Jeanene K. Franks, 83, of Goshen, died Monday April 12, 2021 at her residence in Goshen.  She was born January 10, 1938 in Elkhart, Indiana to Otis L. and Mable M. (Cox) Hertsel.

     On July 2, 1983 in Elkhart she married William E. Franks.  He survives along with 6 children Mark (Cindy) Eggleston, Bradley Eggleston, Brett Eggleston, Richard Franks, Tracy Eggleston Scott (Rita Scott), Edward Lee Franks; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Tony Franks and 6 siblings.

     Jeanene graduated in 1956 from Elkhart High School.  She enjoyed helping others, decorating her home, camping, and spending time with her family.

She worked at Miles Labs in Elkhart for over 40 years.

     Funeral services for Jeanene will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday April 16, 2021 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Friends may visit with the family for 3 hours prior to the service.  Entombment will follow in Rice cemetery.

     Memorial contributions may be given to Goshen Hospice.
