Janet S. (Gillingham) Mark

ELKHART-Janet S. Mark, 78, passed away July 24, 2020 at her home in Elkhart.  She was born January 7, 1942 in Elkhart to George & Rose (Mapes) Gillingham.

  On July 10, 1962 she married Charles Mark; he survives along with 2 children, Fred Mark and Stephanie “Dawn” Lerner.  Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, Jeff Lerner, Katie Lerner, 2 sisters-in-law, and several other family members. 

  She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, George Gillingham and Larry Gillingham.

  Janet worked at Walerko Tool & Engineering for several years.  She enjoyed shopping, decorating her home, and spending time with her family.  She will be remembered as a very loving person. 

  Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Rice Cemetery.
